WOW!! 2012 is here! HAPPY NEW YEAR NKK…

2012 promises to be a great year with many fun-filled rallies and caravans planned. The Tennessee Volunteer Kruisers’ first rally of 2012 will be the 9th-16th May 2012 in Chattanooga, TN at the Best Holiday Trav-L-Park (www.chattacamp.com or call 1-800-693-2877). So, Kruisers and any of the NKK family that would like to join us, mark your calendars, make those reservations, and be prepared to have a great time.

The Full Timer’s Chapter No-Host Spring Rally is 25 April to 1 May, 2012. This is going to take place at the Tom Sawyer’s Mississippi River RV Park (http://www.tomsawyersrvpark.com/). Let’s come out and show the Full Timer’s Chapter a Big Country Welcome to this part of our great country. “Y’all Come”!

  TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER KRUISERS OCTOBER HAPPENINGS...

Here is a recap on what went on at our Nashville Rally. On Sunday morning, for those that arrived early, the Budds and Bledsoes put on a breakfast that was delicious. In the late afternoon we had a Pot Luck dinner at the Campground Pavilion with special guests Dan O'Connell and his family, Kathy and Joe's son. Dan went over what was going to take place on Monday at Northstar Studios, when we would attend the shooting of "Larry's Country Dinner".

Monday we all went to the Northstar and had a great time watching and being apart of the Four shootings of Larry's Country Dinner, and then Dan took us on a tour of Northstar showing what went on behind the scenes of a production of this and others shows.

On Tuesday we all took a Greyline tour of Nashville seeing such sites as the Ryman Auditorium and Country Music Hall of Fame. In the afternoon the Ladies got together for a class in Glass Etching put on by our own, Charlene Budd. We had dinner that nite at the Sante Fe Cattle Co. where we celebrated John Lunn's Birthday.

On Wednesday the morning was to relax, and in the afternoon the Ladies got together for a class on Beading, again put on by Charlene.

That nite we went to the Nashville Nightlife Theater for Dinner and a Show.
Thursday morning the Grogans and the O'Connells put on a breakfast for everyone and then it was time for goodbyes.

For those that would like to see us on Larry's Country Dinner, here is a list of when those showings will take place:

Larry's Country Dinner is on Thursday Nite at 8 to 9 pm on RFDTV.
For those that have Direct TV that is Channel 345 ( channel 231 on Dish Network)
The first showing with Jimmy Capps will be on September 8th.
The second with John Connley will be on September 22nd
The third with Exile will be on October 6th
and the fourth with Collin Ray will be on October 20th
Watch these four shows and watch for those TN Volunteer Kruisers that attended.
