Welcome to Region Five! Our introduction to RVing was a 1979 motorhome trip from Atlanta to California and back in a 33 foot SOV (some other vehicle) with four children and no tow car.  That’s right, no tow car and we drove 8400 miles in 30 days spending more than one night in one place only two times.  This was the beginning of our dream to full time after we became empty nesters.  Today, we are living the dream.  We are in our second Newmar coach and have been full timers for 9 years and love it. 

After purchasing our first Newmar, a Dutch  Star, we fell in love with the Newmar Kountry Klub.  We jumped in with both feet and became volunteers which led to being Georgia State Directors and then our present position as Region Five Directors. Region Five includes the eight southern states which are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.  Each state has at least one Klub chapter with Florida having five.  This region has over 1000 Kountry Klub members.

We are from Tucker, Georgia and spend most of our time going to the State Rallies and as many of the chapter rallies as possible. Our responsibility as Region Directors is to insure all the states and chapters are operating smoothly, growing and most importantly having a great time.  We also are responsible for having a Regional Rally each year, usually held in the Fall.  

The Kountry Klub is a wonderful “family” of like minded people.  There is always a rally, luncheon or some activity nearby, so check the Calendar of Events on this website or the Konnection magazine to see what’s happening in your area or wherever your agenda takes you.  We guarantee you will meet new friends and have a great time.
