Our 2008 rally season has now come to a close and we had a great year with our activities. Each of the Chapter Rallies were well attended this year with an increase in those attending. The rally hosts did an outstanding job of putting the events together and for providing some interesting tours. We would like to thank everyone for attending and supporting the efforts of the Chapter and Klub.

We would like to extend a SPECIAL THANK YOU to each of the RALLY HOSTS for stepping up to the task and providing such outstanding rallies. The Northern Aire’s Chapter is like most other chapters, a handful of members continue to do the work hosting rallies. We need more members to step up to the plate and help host and co-host rallies. We continue to have the same members hosting the rallies each year. If you would like to host a rally in 2010, you can get some experience in 2009 by offering to assist at one of the rallies.

We have gained additional members during 2008 and this has been a very positive sign that the Chapter and the Klub is offering events of interest. We have just learned we are gaining two new members that are currently in the process of joining the Chapter. Each Northern Aire’s member will be receiving a Chapter Directory for 2009. We would like to thank Jim & Connie Enneper #16561 for putting this together and doing the printing. This is another means of keeping the membership informed.

May 25 - 28, 2009 Chapter Rally West Bend
June 16 - 19, 2009 State Rally Lake Delton
July 7 - 10, 2009 Chapter Rally Sarona
Aug. 1 - 8, 2009 International Rally Goshen, IN
Aug. 23 - 27, 2009 Region 4 Rally Amana Colonies,IA
Sept. 22 - 25, 2009 Chapter Rally Door Co.

Also, we are planning a September 2010 joint rally with the Northern IL Chapter at Monroe, WI for the semi annual Cheese Fest. This should be a very interesting and fun rally with all the local events that are held.

As you know the Konnection will be published on the web site in the near future. This should work out for our members that have e-mail and web access, for those members that do not have this access, the Klub will be doing some mailings to keep our members informed. We have also been sending e-mail information to the Chapter members and regular mailings to those that don’t have e-mail. This is being done to help keep each member up to date on changing issues. If you have some information you would like to share with our membership, please drop me a note and we will forward the information.

We would like to thank each of these officers for their outstanding efforts in 2008. They have agreed to continue in their position for another year and for this we would like to extend our thanks. We will need a couple members to again step up to the plate next year and be willing to take an officers position for 2010. So keep this in mind as you take part in all the activities in 2009.

We will again be spending most of the winter in site 89 at Shiprock RV Resort in Apache Junction, AZ. Remember the Thursday morning breakfast at Road Haven in Apache Junction, which starts at 8 AM each Thursday.

We wish safe travels to everyone that is traveling during this winter season.

We would also like to thank everyone for your outstanding support during this past year. Without your support, we wouldn’t get the enjoyment from our duties as we move forward into 2009.
