Back by popular demand, the Quartzsite, Arizona Gathering in the Desert rally will combine three events starting on Sunday, January 14, 2024, for early arrival for Jeeps and off-road vehicles (This activity is FULL). A discussion on four wheeling basic concepts will be held Sunday evening. Two days of off-road trail adventures on Monday and Tuesday of varying difficulty. For those two days, we will run around on easy to challenging trails exploring the history and natural beauty that surrounds the Quartzsite area. There were 30 off-road vehicles at last year’s outing, but we are already at 60 vehicles.

Wednesday, January 17, starts the annual pre-big tent rally which runs through Sunday. We will be running the second annual chili cook-off on Friday night and the US-Canadian rematch will be held for bragging rights (judges can be bribed but must be in US dollars and not loonies, lol). Dinners, including the cook-off, will be provided from Wednesday through Saturday and potluck heavy hors d’oeuvres for Sunday. All attendees are asked to bring light snacks each afternoon. Seminars will be scheduled on Thursday and Friday mornings. Bonfires will occur each night, weather permitting. We are also planning on music from Rocky, who gave a great performance at this past year’s event. Lastly is the annual free Quartzsite Sports, Vacation and RV Show (The Big Tent) from Saturday January 20^th through the following Sunday.  Everyone is welcome to stay past our event to attend as many days as you need to take in all the sights of the big tent.

We will be Boondocking on BLM land (14 day Free pass). We hope to be able to give the free pass for BLM registration out at registration, as in years past.  For those new to boondocking, we will send out our updated primer in December. This is an easy way to be introduced into the joys of boondocking.

Attendees do not need to be Newmar Klub members, and all brands are welcome. Register below. NKK members are able to start registering online at the time of this posting. Non-members will be allowed to register online starting in September (type GUEST infield asking for member number). The rally fee is based on the anticipated number of rigs attending. We will be limiting the rig count to 150, due to food logistics. Please postmark your payment no later than November 15, 2023, if paying by check. After that date, there will be a link for online payment, which must be paid by December 20, 2023.  No onsite or walk-in registrations will be accepted. You will receive a confirmation of your registration/payment by email from the rally host, once the payment has been received. We look forward to another memorable and enjoyable event.
